Eventually bought 2 iltis long ago with a friend. Both with well damaged body, hence I’ve decided to buy a separate (less damaged) body and rebuil it all.

In 1955 my father brought a Deluxe 1951 (with some work as the car got hit by a truck).My mother and him went for a romantic trip (6 000Kms) with it.

It’s alive & vroooming
After 1 & 1/2 year in the workshop, Pinocchio went through :
- Complete body checkup (lots of welding and swearing)
- Complete mechanical check (But brakes)
- Electrical checkup ongoing
- Some paint here & there
- Main Shaft & starter motor change
- Roof overhaul (still to finish)
- And many other things… enjoy the pics
